You Too Can Have A Groovy Dog!
Got an unruly pooch ruling the household? Love that new puppy, but she's driving you crazy chewing? Want to develop a deeper bond between yourself and your little four-legged bestie beastie?
Here's a great idea: put aside one hour a week for six weeks to let me teach you the basics of canine behavior and obedience training. I'll swing the plan if you commit to spending 5-10 minutes, four to six times a day with your little buddy, and in no time you'll turn your unhip slacker dog into a Totally Awesome Groovy Dog.
Trust-Based Training uses only Positive Reinforcement Training methods, drawn from Canine Behavior Training pioneers such as Dr. Ian Dunbar, Jean Donaldson, Patricia McConnell and Karen Pryor.
Six Weeks To A Groovy Dog ~ Individual Sessions
With this package I offer one 75-minute in-home session per week that teaches you, the pet parent, the basics of canine behavior and pet dog training. This has numerous advantages over the group-class paradigm. You can schedule the training sessions at your convenience (based on my availability, of course) instead of having to conform to a class schedule. You don't have to transport your dog to and from a location every week. You have the entire time to yourself, instead of having to share with a half-dozen other owners and their dogs. And I can tailor the training schedule directly to your dog's temperament, as well as address any specific problems you've experienced.
Daily Train & Play
For people with difficult training issues I offer a version of the Six Weeks To A Groovy Dog program where I come to your home five days a week - Monday through Friday - for 90 minutes a day and do some intensive training with your dogs. You of course will be required to do a little "homework" to reinforce all the lessons so your dog will behave for you the same they do for me. This is also great for folks who work long hours and cannot devote the time necessary for training themselves.
